Ph.D. Students
Ajijur Rahaman obtained his B.Sc in Chemistry (Hons) and M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry specialization) from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal (India) in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Since August 2018, he has joined as a CSIR JRF in this group at CSIR-CSMCRI. Later he was promoted to CSIR SRF. He completed his Ph. D. in February 2024. Further, he was selected as a JSPS fellow in the Shibasaki Group at The Microbial Chemistry Research Foundation, in Tokyo, Japan.

Thesis title: Development of Catalytic Procedures for the Synthesis of Useful Fine Chemicals by Using Carboxylic Acids and/or Their Equivalents as Substrates.
Aniket Gupta obtained his B.Sc in Chemistry (Hons) from St. Xaviers College Kolkata (Autonomous) under the affiliation of Calcutta University in 2014 and obtained his M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic chemistry specialisation) from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur in 2016. Since November 2016, he has joined as a Project-JRF in this group at CSIR-CSMCRI. Later he has been promoted to Project-SRF. He has successfully completed his Ph.D. on September, 2022. Later he has joined The University of Birmingham, London as a post-doc fellow.

Jogendra Kumar obtained his Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Kumaun University, Nainital (India) in 2015. He has worked as a UGC- Senior research fellow for his PhD in this group at CSIR-CSMCRI. After successful completion of his Ph.D. in August,2022 he joined as a post-doc fellow under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Lukas J. Goossen, Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany.

Research Associates
Sreedhar Gundekari did his B. Sc. from Kakathiya university in 2004 and M. Sc. from J. N. T. U. HYDERABAD in 2007. He has done his PhD from AcSIR/CSIR CSMCRI, Bhavnagar in 2018. He had been working here as a Research Associate, CSIR- CSMCRI from Oct. 2018 to Feb. 2020. Afterwards, he joined Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI), ANAND ( Gujarat, India) as a Senior Scientist. Later, he moved to Chaitanya deemed to be University, Hanamkonda, Telangana to work as an Assistant Professor. Currently, he has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at KL (Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh in 2022.

Pruthviraj Sureshkumar Nai received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in chemistry from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in 2017 and 2019 respectively. Subsequently, he joined our group as a Project Associate-I in Sept., 2020 and in April, 2021 he left upon completion of his work.

Anil Ganpat Waghmode completed his B. Sc. from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Currently, he is pursuing his M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Yasavantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara (Autonomous) since 2022. He joined this group as a dissertation student for two months during his Post-graduation from March 2024 to April 2024.

Parmar Vimal Hareshbhai pursuing his M. Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Marwadi University in 2022. He joined this group as a dissertation student for three months during his Post-graduation from January 2024 to March 2024.

Tapan Sunwar did his graduation from Royal University of Bhutan in 2020. He is currently pursuing his M.
